Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This explains what information Glucer collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: we collect what's needed to run your account and chats, we send your messages to an AI provider to get answers, and we don't sell your data.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you give one, your name.
- Your content: messages you send, files and images you attach, and Glucer's replies. Saved chats are stored in your account. Temporary chats are not saved.
- Your settings: preferences, memory items (only if you turn Memory on), and scheduled tasks.
- Technical data: basic request information such as IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider processes to deliver and protect the Service.
2. Computer access
Computer access is off until you turn it on. When it's on:
- Glucer reads only what it needs to answer your request. File contents, screenshots, clipboard text and command output that Glucer reads are sent to our AI provider so it can respond. Screenshots and clipboard reads always ask first.
- Protected places (like password and key files) always ask for approval before Glucer looks inside.
- The list of actions Glucer takes (the activity log) and the undo history are saved on your computer in a folder called .glucer. They are not uploaded to us.
- You can disconnect at any time by closing the Glucer Agent or turning off Computer access.
3. How we use information
- To run Glucer: to answer you, save your chats, run scheduled tasks, and remember things if you turn Memory on.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your chats for advertising.
4. AI processing
Your messages and any content you attach or let Glucer read are sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate replies. Google processes that content under its own terms. Please don't share passwords, payment details, or other secrets in chats.
5. Who else handles your data
- Google (Firebase and Gemini): sign-in, email verification, data storage, and AI replies.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and the service that connects the app to the AI.
- GitHub: hosting for the desktop app downloads.
We share information with others only when the law requires it, or to protect the Service and its users.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your account and saved chats until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. You can delete individual chats in the app. To delete your account and data, email us at the address below.
7. Security
We use industry-standard tools (encrypted connections, email verification, and access rules on stored data). No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
Glucer is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make an important change, we'll tell you in the app or by email.
